Description
Welcome to Two Heroes, a very exciting Brew Pub addition in South Hero Vermont!
This idea started over 5 years ago, when Matt & Daren decided that South Hero would benefit from another eating place with community at the forefront. While watching the the brewery market for over a decade, we believe that a small town nano brewpub would be a stable model to both produce beer and run a local restaurant. We believe that community is the most important aspect of this town and we serve to fill the void for a local gathering place for community members and visitors alike.
The pandemic forced us to pivot from our original plans of breaking ground, to instead opening a tasting room in a much smaller space. For the time being you can find us at the “old Wally’s” space on the corner of Rt 2 and 314 on the way to the NY Ferry. We can’t wait to share our passion with you!

Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: black in color; eggshell white quarter finger of foamy head, dissipated to leave mild messy lace
Aroma: huge amount of dark malts, nuts, roasty and toasty, some milk chocolate and dark chocolate
Flavor: roasty and sweet through the prior mentioned aromas; subtle aftertaste of chocolate and nuts
Texture: medium bodied, between sessionable and being a sipper; roasty and toasty dry finish
Overall: nicely done stout for the most part, perhaps could have been a bit more smoother if they would have added a bit more oats to it. I'd still have again.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: ruddy orange to semi-murky bronze color with a thin white head dissipating kindly to leave barely any lace
Aroma: rye floral and spicy components running through sly semi-sweet toasty malts
Flavor: starts floral and spicy through the rye and the malts play as a back up for balance, quick rye floral and semi-spicy aftertaste
Texture: rye spicy grip but ends up being smoother the more I sipped this. Light to medium bodied, quick rye finish
Overall: very nicely done rye IPA. I wish more brewers would do this style

Can to tall tulip.
Appearance: dark brown colored body with a finger's worth of tan foamy head, slowly dissipated to leave sly lacing
Aroma: rich nuttiness, dark bread, smooth maple, toast, some yeasty earthiness
Flavor: semi-sweet, roasty, toasty, maple and bready, quick aftertaste of the maple and the breadiness
Texture: smooth and rich, sweet but restrained enough to not be cloying, maple/nutty/bready finish
Overall: cool idea to reinvent an altbier and do it in a bigger way, I'd return to this!
