Cask at CBC, Clerkenwell on 15th September 2023. Reddish copper with shallow off-white foam and spot lacing. Leafy hops and caramel malt aroma. Exquisite bitterness in-mouth and a leafy, bitter finish that builds with each sip. Smooth mouthfeel and a light body.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 12th August 2023. Pale, straw-coloured with lasting shallow off-white foam and full lacing. Grassy hoppiness in aroma. Fruity and grassy hops in-mouth, with a savoury transient of nuttiness. A herby hop finish. Light body and a zingy mouthfeel. Refreshing.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 27th August 2023. Copper with shallow white, non-lacing foam. Spicy malt aroma. Bitter in-mouth with slightly smoky malts, touches of ginger and spices. A bitter finish with maltiness and woodsmoke. Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

Hand-pulled half-pint in The Colmore on 5th August 2023, during a Stag Do for AndyTF2. Nice to find a decent new Mild and a new brewery for me too! Mini-haze in the body, amber coloured, off-white head. Malty front with a hint of dark fruits and the promise of sweetness.

Cask at The Colmore; slightly hazed light copper pour with a thin off white head, aroma has dark fruits, taste has a hint off coffee, dark fruit, some toffee.

16/6/2023. Cask at the 18th Braintree Real Ale Festival. Pours clear dark ruby brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, cocoa, roasted malt, damp muddy edge. Medium sweetness, moderate developing bitterness. Moderate body, watery, quite flat carbonation. Dry roasty finish. Okay.

16/6/2023. Cask at the 18th Braintree Real Ale Festival. Pours clear pale amber with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is malty, fruity, floral, woodchip. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, slightly oily, soft carbonation. Very dry finish. Okay session.
