16/6/2023. Cask at the 18th Braintree Real Ale Festival. Pours clear pale amber with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is malty, fruity, floral, woodchip. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, slightly oily, soft carbonation. Very dry finish. Okay session.

Cask @ Upper George Hotel, Halifax. Golden with a creamy-frothy head. Crisp hopped brew, nice and easy to drink and quite smooth in the palate.

Skipton Beer Festival 2023. Dark amber with a slight haze. Hoppy with a light associated sweetness in this respect, but always mild tasting, with a hint of darker malt in its aftertaste.

Cask at the Market Cat. York. Pale golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are light malty citrus and slight dry. Light crisp body.

Cask @ The Hebden, (formerly The Pub), Hebden Bridge. Paler golden with a thick frothy head. Session strength somewhat watery in design, but kept well so it must be designed this way. Hopped brew.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Clear copper-amber with a creamy-frothy head. Light caramels, malts, and a dominant mid to high bitterness.

Cask @ Square Chapel, Halifax. Very dark mahogany-brown with a smooth texture and a slightly off-white creamy head. Malty in aroma and taste, although not as dark malty as you might expect from its colour, however there's a robustness about it. Has a hint of roasted in its nose, but perhaps somewhat watery in taste.

Bradford Beer Festival 2023. Clear golden coloured. Session hop-malt balanced ale with a pleasant bitterness.

Colne Beer Festival 2023. Clear copper-gold in colour. Hoppy with hints of sweetness, although an overriding mid bitterness is just about dominant in a decent brew.
