Taste from a can. Pours black, with a small, tan head. The aroma is pumpernickel, caramel, mild mocha, straw, and apple. Sweet and a little roasty. Smooth and weak.

Taster at ACBF. Pours black, with a small, foamy, tan head. The aroma is cocoa, cream, and ... basically Oreo cookies. I'm struggling to come up with anything else, really. Sweet and sugary, with a mild bitterness. Very heavy body, with a thick and chewy mouthfeel. Big, focused, and decadent. Delicious!

Taster at the brewery. Pours black, with a medium, pillowy, beige head. The aroma is cheap coffee, green tea, dirt, and lots of pine sap. Very bitter flavor. Light to medium body, with a harsh and acrid mouthfeel. This was a very unfortunate porter.

Sample at Collaboration Fest on 03/25/2017. Slightly hazy orange-gold color with a medium thin off-white head that burns away quickly to an outer ring. Wheat, cinnamon and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of wheat, dark fruit and cinnamon. The finish is wheaty and fruity with a mild cinnamon aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at Collaboration Fest on 03/25/2017. Hazy golden color with a medium ivory white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lace. Tropical fruit, hops and malt in the nose. Medium to full-bodied with flavors of resiny hops, grapefruit and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering juicy fruity hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
