Vanuit het hobbybrouwen groeide de hobby van Ben Theunissen uit tot een volwaardige brouwerij in de kelder (2.40 meter hoog en een oppervlak van 27 vierkante meter) van zijn huis. Begonnen in de keuken met het brouwen van 20 liter bier per keer, kon er in de kelder in een brouwinstallatie van Brewtools al 100 liter bier worden gebrouwen. De benodigde vergunning was 25 augustus 2021 binnen. Het eerste commerciële bier, Start-up Tripel, was geboren. In de loop van 2021 werden er extra vergistingsvaten aangeschaft om de capaciteit van de brouwerij te vergroten. De brouwerij brouwt voornamelijk limited editions, die vroeg of laat weer opnieuw kunnen worden gebrouwen.

Sampled at Hop On Hop Off Festival, Breda, 2026. Clear orange golden color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, a light blossomy touch, sweetish a little in the beginning but rather bitter in the finish. A bit fizzy carbonation. Mwah. Unimpressive tbh. 7-6-5-5-5

T Smakt - Imperial Stout
Sampled at Hop On Hop Off Festival, Breda, 2026. Almost opaque dark brown color, average sized beige to tan head. Aroma is malts, some roast but mainly brown malts. Flavor is malts, brown malts, grainy a bit, green coffee beans and a light sour note. Pretty sure this will turn bad quickly. Seems slightly infected and not the right malts used. To me it tastes more like a failed attempt at a brown ale. Not good. 6-5-4,5-5-4

330ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish, dark golden colour with average, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Yeasty fruity and slightly dusty, spicy, yeasty as well as minimally citrusy fruity aroma, minimally bready, pale malty background, hints of apricot, orange peel, a touch of white pepper, coriander. Taste is yeasty fruity and slightly yeasty spicy, moderately bitter hoppy, slightly citrusy fruity and minimally bready and grainy, pale malty, minimally diluted notes of apricot, orange peel, a touch of coriander, white pepper.
Watery texture, dry palate, medium to coarse, lively carbonation.
Quite fruity and refreshing, a tad overcarbonated - good.

Citrusy fruity hoppy and minimally spicy aroma, Widely disguised, wheaty malty background, notes of lemon, lemon peel, a touch of orange peel and coriander. Taste is rather grainy, malty and citrusy fruity hoppy, minimally spicy, notes of oat flakes, lemon, a touch of lemon peel, orange peel and coriander, low residual sweetness, moderate bitterness, mild tartness.
Watery texture, slightly dry and almost minimally astringent palate, medium, prickly carbonation.
Quite hop and lemon dominated, fairly refreshing, somehow more "raw" grainy than malty - nice.

330ml bottle. Minimally milky, dark auburn colour with average to huge, frothy, rapidly diminishing, beige head. Caramel malty and slightly chocolately, dark malty as well as yeasty fruity aroma, notes of dried fruit, plum, raisin, dark berries, herbal-earthy overtones. Taste is sweet-ish, slightly chocolately, dark and caramel malty, yeasty fruity minimally yeasty spicy and alcoholic, hints of dried fruit, raisin, some plum, cherry, a touch of clove.
Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and minimally dry palate, medium to fine, dense, creamy, mildly prickly carbonation.
