Small cream-coloured head over hazy orange-amber nose. Quite fruity nose, herbal, citruszeste, bitter grapes, lychee. Bitter, with a faint sweetish background, both fruity and caramel. A bit of honey too, orange/grapefruitzeste, faintly roasted. Warming up, more specific lemonzeste, lemonbalm. Quite slick, rather well-carbonated, long bitterish aftertaste. Quite good, this one. Small, lighlty cream-coloured head over foxy amber beer, coldhazed. Fruity nose, citrus, grapefruit, lychee, rosewater. Faintly cheesy at first , later faraway nint at ?chlorine? Bitter, lightly fruity. Melon, bitter melon, unripe peach, ciruszeste. Faint oxydation. Bitterness keeps hanging around, again very faintly cheesy. Medium bodied, slick, medium carbonation. Average. Head boen in secs, clear orange-golden beer. End of bottle UFO-laden. Spicy/herbal (indeed!) nose; lavender, chamomille, lemonthyme or lemonverbena or something similar - aromatic but weird. Bitter, bit hoppy, very herbal. Again lavender or ’Roman’ lettuce. Bit metallic, iron (the verbena?) Despite the low alcohol - aka lots of water -, good carbonation, finish is dry. Refreshing but the herbal bitterness doesn’t make it exactly easily drinkable. Not bad, but one for the amateurs. Dank je, Aga!

Medium cream-coloured head over hazy foxy-amber beer. Cakey, caramelly nose, seriously sweet, with some faint hoppy aromas. Almonds, rosewater, frangipane. Bitter, resiny flavour with again background flavours of rosewater, grapefruit, woodstainer. Resiny feel, near astringent, well-bodied but finish is thinner. Well-carbonated. Main weakness is that the nose stands perpendicular on the quite bitter flavour.

Good, bit irregular snowwhite head, lacy, over veiled pale yellow-golden beer. Smoked ham nose, bakery & butchers’ shop aromas (as in Ardennes’ ham); slight hint at lemon. Again smoked ham, though quite restrained. Bit nutty; unsalted peanuts or very fresh hazelnuts. Again a hint at citrus. Very light body, refreshing, well-carbonated, mineral water quality; but the finish is pretty dry. Great! Dank je, Aga!

Barwa bursztynowa, lekko opalizujące, piana dość drobna, w miarę trwała i przyzwoicie oblepiająca szkło. W aromacie karmel, dojrzałe owoce, ciemniejsze słody i trochę cytrusowo- ziołowych akcentów. W smaku dość słodki, słodowy, trochę karmelu, do tego kontra od cytrusowych chmieli. Jak na Imperial IPA zdecydowanie brakuje goryczki (nie wiem po co teraz zjechali do 65 IBU), jest bardziej na poziomie zwykłych India Pale Ale i to bardziej z tych przeciętnych. Wysycenie średnie, pijalność nienajgorsza, dość dobra pełnia, alkohol bardzo delikatnie wyczuwalny. Ogólnie tragedii nie ma (choć po Olimpie oczekiwałem więcej, zwłaszcza jak miał być to Zeus, ciskający piorunami), ma dobrą bazę słodową, jest ciekawym piwem, ale brakuje tej goryczki, która miała w domyśle zwalać z nóg, a tak niestety nie jest.

At a tasting, smallish head, thick pour,darkish brown color, mellow smokey aroma with coconut, coffee and dark bread, flavor of dark fruit, dark chocolate and some metalic notes, medium lingering bitterness. Good and highly enjoyable.
