Almost clear amber beer, a few short lived pale tan bubbles. Palate is light and semi dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Dominant bourbon, bold and fruity. Spice, both bourbon and hops. Rich ripe citric fruits. Pine. Tangy ripe citric spice underpinned by ripe fruits, even sherryish fruits. Light spicy finish. Nice. Rich, strong and flavoursome. For me, much clearer BA Barleywine than a DIPA, but then maybe it's an Eisbock.

500ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Floral-herbal aroma, notes of chamomile, lemon tea. Taste is mildly tart, floral, citrusy, minimally herbal, notes of lemon tea and chamomile. Nice composition, refreshing, slightly monotonous (in negative connotation), focused (in positive connotation). Quite nice.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max's place. Thanks Stas. Cloudy red-amber. Green vegetal coffee, chili pepper-like, brett, oak, fruitiness, sweetish-sourish with a bitterish touch in the finish, medium-bodied. Kinda weird.
