Bottle from Yolo Bangkok. Poured a hazy light amber colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt, big tropical fruit, light alcohol, woody hop. The flavour is moderate sweet with a dry, crisp mineral, fruity, dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Light to medium sweet flavour with soft cocoa accents, some earth, more pine, citrus rind. Medium bodied with fine carboNtion. Balanced finish, further cocoa notes, grapefruit pith, scorched earth. Well balanced CDA.

Bodney Bier Huis bottleshare. Thanks to Leighton. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Palate is smooth and thin, modest fine carbonation. Soft and semi dry thin dark malts. Tangy dark chocolate. Mild spice. Thin tangy finish. A bit hobbled, not awful.

Tap at So Good in Rome. Hazy/cloudy golden pour (bit muddy), creamy irregular and frothy foam. Nose: tangerine, a bit soapy, lime cake. Mouth: frizzy carbo, sweet bergamot, sweet citrus. Simple although pretty ok.

Il gusto al naso viene catturato da orzo tostato, liquirizia e affumicato. Il liquido è di colore scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è contenuto. L'intensità gustativa è elevata. La costanza gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali che permangono sfociano in un finale di pronta beva. Sul tetto della bocca si depositano indizi di miele, liquirizia, amaretto, frutta secca, resina e agrumi.

L'intensità olfattiva è appena percepibile e la continuità olfattiva è corta. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. Il liquido è di aspetto nebbioso. Bollicine medio-fini costituiscono la forma del perlage. La carbonazione è nella norma. Il colore è ambrato torbido. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è non invasivo. L'intensità gustativa è normale. La costanza gustativa è sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali che permangono sono di birra beverina. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Al gusto vengono donati toni di miele, cereali e frutta secca.

Pours unclear darker blonde to amber. Medium sized head, good stability. Much lacing. Smell is bit creamy, quite malty, wheat is bit hidden. Some alcohol notes. Taste is full, creamy, rather boozy, wheat, very intensely so, mild bitterness. Low carbo, over a thick body. Too boozy to me.
