On tap @Bir&Fud (Rome). Nera, abbastanza densa, schiuma beige medio, non molto persistente. Al naso sentori di cioccolata fondente, caffé, liquirizia, nocino. In bocca è amara, con leggera astringenza da tostato, caffettosa. Corpo medio, carbonazione medio-leggera. Un po' grezza, da rifinire.

Tap at Open Baladin in Rome/Italy. Hazy golden pale pour, vivid somehow. Medium white foam with decent retention. Nose: sweet malty notes (!) kind of must of a brew. Far too yeasty imo. Mouth is watery, a bit too sweet maltiness. No flaws no major problems, simply not terrific.

On tap @Bir&Fud (Rome). Dorata, limpida, schiuma bianca media, discretamente persistente. Al naso note di miele, cereali, malto, lievito, leggero erbaceo. In bocca è dolce all'attacco, con finale amaro abbastanza presente. Corpo leggero, carbonazione media. Un po' anonima.

Keg at Scurreria, Genova, Italy, Friday 10th February 2017 Pours gold with a white head, really thick in the mouth, a little syrupy sweetness but this is soon railroaded by a huge hop presence. The bitterness anaesthetises your gums, it’s a touch resiny. Great beer. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Genova, Italy, Thursday 9th February 2017 This is a big beast of a TIPA. sweet but carrying plenty of bitterness, fruity, tropical, hoppy burps, cloudy golden colour with a filmy white head. A touch of heat from the abv, furry bitterness throughout. Good stiff. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Handpump at Be.Re. in Rome-Italy. Dark caramel pour, tick and creamy ivory foam. Nose: soft notes of roast, hazelnuts, English character. Mouth is rich, really. Roast and clean notes of barley. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
