473ml can. Opaque, darkest brown colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige to tan head. Sweet-ish, minimally perfumed, chocolately, dark malty aroma, hints of vanilla and coffee, some caramel, smoky overtones. Taste is sweet and bitter, dark and slightly caramel malty, minimally perfumed, hints of hundreds and thousands, vanilla, some coffee, smoky interludes. Slightly creamy, watery texture, indifferent palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Slightly disharmonious, imbalanced, almost a tad artificial due to the vanilla - I like the smoky aspect/effect best though not really matching the rest.

16 oz can poured. Dark and dense near black pour, tons of dark tan foam head. Flavor is rich with milk chocolate. Smooth tasting imperial. Sweetness outlasts a noticeable dark chocolate bitterness. Rich dessert chocolate finish, boozy but not over the top. Good imp stout.
