Panda thanks to Ed. A clear pale gold yellow coloured pour with a small halo of white head. Aroma is semi sweet, woody honey, paint, vanilla, oak tannin, harsh alcohol. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, oily, rounded vanill beans, oaky wood, banana chew, golden syrup, warming alcohol, Palate is medium sweet, rounded, full bodied, oily, still. Nice.

6/12/2023. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear pale amber with minimal head. Aroma is sweet, honey, floral, elderflower, gooseberry, ashtray edge. Medium plus sweetness with nice tangy tartness. Medium body, sticky, low carbonation. Very nice.

350ml bottle from RAD beer. Golden colour, afew short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of honey, bourbon barrel, vanilla. Taste is sweet, honey, vanilla, booze, with bourbon barrel caramel and coconut hints. Syrupy mouthfeel, full bodied, low carbonation, sweet boozy finish. Nicely sippable.

Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 30/07/23. Almost clear light golden yellow with a thin white cap that veers edgewards. Nose is straight up honey, booze fumes, sugars, herb, melon. Taste comprises honey, icing sugar, light herb, soft breads, straw, pinch of spice. Full bodied, oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of alcohol. Solid straight up mead ... not overly sweet ... has a trace of herb and spice to balance.

Taste comprises blackberries, honey, sugars, mellow tonka back notes, chocolate, vanilla, sweet edge tempered with a pinch of spice. Full bodied, oily feel, semi drying close with a rising kiss of alcohol. Solid.

Quite heavy sweetness. Full bodied, thick and sticky, no carbonation. Warming sweet alcohol finish. Delicious sweet sipper.
