The Barley Craft Brewery is a small and creative craft reality which promotes its products to restaurant tables of a medium to high standard, comparable to a level similar to that of wine.
The Barley beers are synonymous of originality and refinement, the result of amazing experimentations which utilize the production area's ingredients in unexpected ways. So was born a wide range of 12 beers, that enable to give an extraordinary intensity of bouquets and aromas.

75 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is estery, dry and mild spiced. Mild toasted and caramelish. Mild fruity, toasted and light fruity. Toasted malty finish.

Tåkete gylden brun med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter maltekstrakt, fudge, gress, nøtter og blomster. Smaker søt karamell, noe brent i starten. Noe nøtter. Medium fylde. Middels bitterhet mot drueskall utover. Medium lengde. Noe pepperig.

Gylden brun noe tåkete med kremete beige skum. Lukter mandel, noe fersken og fudge. Fyldig i smak, alkohol og parfyme. Skarp lang bitterhet, mot drueskall og sitrusskall.

Litt tåkete gulbrun med to fingre høyt hvitt skum. Lukter hvete, eple og røde bær. Lett fruktig søtlighet, noe fløtekaramell og hvete. Kort. Lite kullsyre.

2010 bottle. Cloudy, slightly muddy brown-orange, nice lace. slightly metallic nose, brown sugar, caramel, dried fruits. Sweet but with a nice tart edge, orange, prunes, lots of raisins, cinnamon. Slightly vinous. Nice tang. Good flavors, rich and big, good body.

Bottle at the Great British Beer Festival 2014, Day 3 - London. Pours mostly clear gold with a creamy, off-white head. Nicely balanced beer with notes of pale bread, some tangerine meringue, mellow pine needles. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Balanced finish, some further citrusy meringue, pale dough. Solid.

Bottle shared at chriso’s Post-GBBF Shindig 2014 - London. Pours unclear golden with a creamy white head. Novel, with light Belgian yeast character, bread, dough, some ripe orange. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with light bitter hay and orange peel, more doughy bread, yeast. Not bad overall.

Bottled. Golden colour with a big white head. Aroma is wheat, some floral notes along with mild bready and sweet alcoholic notes. Flavour is yeast, some citrus, mild bread and toffee. A bit sweet alcoholic notes as well.

Bottled (backlog). Golden colour with a mediumsized white head, which vanishes quite quickly. Aroma is fruity, spicy, mildly yeasty along with some alcohol and mild floral notes. Flavour is spices, some mild fruitiness, nice somewhat sweet malty body with a nice floral hoppiness in the finish.
