Can. Golden amber with a cm+ of white head. Brooding cooked citrus aroma with sweet buns, some tropical fruit. Fairly sweet but neither as sweet as it smells and clean with tenor register citrus and bitterness that nags rather than snaps. Strong for what it offers.

Appropriate little can for a very strong beer. Black, no head. Actual pieces of coconut! Big chocolate aroma with roast, toasted coconut and other nuts, some berries - smells good but threatens to be sweet. But not too much - the roast and bitterness (maybe some of it from nuts) is enough to keep it from seeming cloying. There is a boozy rumble after a while but it's not hot. The balance here is really very cunning.

Can. 250ml cans for strong beer is an excellent idea. Very clear red with a good inch of off white head. Aroma has caramel, stewed fruit, citrus and light tropical fruit. Perhaps even slightly chocolatey upon a taste. Malty but the richness gets out of the way nicely when the hops start to come through so bitterness never has to cut through. Nice, polished.

Can from Saccharomyces Bottleshop, Brisbane. Pours near clear gold with white foam. Aroma: citrus, grapefruit, pine. Light to moderate sweet with moderate bitterness, follows the aroma. Towards dry on the palate. Medium body with soft carbonation. Very reasonable

From a 250ml can on 15/1/2025. Pours a cloudy golden with a small head. Has a muted fruity nose. Tastes of sweet citrus and stone with some light tropical overtones, but nothing really stands out. Has a lightly tangy and spicy bitterness A somewhat warming finish is the only hint to the size of the brew. Silky mouthfeel with average carbonation. Pleasant enough but not particularly memorable.

From a 375ml can on 23/11/2024. Pours a slightly opaque deep golden with a smallish to medium head. The nose features orange and mango with some melon overtones. Tastes of orange and tangerine, with hints of lemon and lime. Decently bitter with a touch of grapefruit at the back. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. A really interesting and enjoyable take on the WC style.

Can. Almost clear gold with a cm of white head. Citrus and barely ripe tropical fruit aroma with light bread. Leanish but with just a little crusty edge on the bread. Lots of quite focused fruit before a fairly bitter end. Does the 'analogous to traditional hops' thing quite well.

From a 440ml can on 28/6/2024. Pours a cloudy light golden with a medium head. The nose is tropical, with some citrus, floral and funky notes. Tastes of pineapple, passionfruit, melon and grape, with a quite spicy bitterness with the barest hint of hop burn silky mouthfeel with average carbonation. Complex, interesting, very good.

Can, cold. Clear brown with a modest beige head. Aroma of nuts, some chocolate, weeds. Tastes as it smells. Sweetish with balancing bitterness. Weedy and a bit spicy at the end. Good quaffer. The Servo sounds like the place to be in PK.

From a 440ml can on 1/5/2024. Pours a dirty golden red with pretty much no head. Has a big raspberry cake nose. Tastes a bit like a raspberry milkshake - highly sweet up front, with more raspberry cakeiness, which is met by a lovely light tart finish that balances the beer out beautifully. Has a creamy mouthfeel and moderate to average carbonation. Fantastic.
