50cl bottle. Poured hazy orange with a frothy head. Aroma is typical hefeweizen, wheat and fruity and some yeast in aroma. Flavor is ripe bananas, too sweet for my liking. Slightly spicy and wheat in flavor also.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A hazy, dark amber beer with an off-white head. Weak nose with some caramel and banana. The flavor is much the same, too weak and boring. Medium body, effervescent. Short finish. Way to boring and weak all the way, but at least not offensive. 110130

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It pours a hazy, dark golden-orange body and a dense, off-white head. Nice banana aroma with some lemony scents. Pleasant cloves too. Sweet, banana flavor, really pleasant, nicely balanced against the lemony wheat and cloves. Some bitterness towards the end. Effervescent and medium- to full-bodied. Long finish. A really well crafted hefeweizen. 110129

Bottled, thanks Bierkrug! Cloudy orange, creamy head. Citric banana aroma. Fairly dry with soft mouthfeel and mid sized body. Mild banana and citric yeastiness. The cushiony malt is really pleasant, the tart yeastiness comes across as more weird.

I’m slightly disappointing from the beer. The other taste beers from Kuchlbauer me excellent, this beer is good but not quite excellent. Is more to the tangy citrus direction. The carbonic acid is set well, the beer is something foamy. Sure, there are wheat beers that have a larger range of flavor, perhaps even more depth. Oh, and the color, for me this beer is more of a light-dark wheat!

Bottle courtesy of Bierkrug, thank you sir! Crystal clear golden color that turns variegated orange brown when the yeast is added, and a huge beige ice cream cone head with moderate retention, scant lacing. Aroma of rising bread dough and orange peel. Taste is slightly sour bubblegum and tropical fruits. Medium body. Nice.

Bottled 500ml. -from Sörspecialista.hu, Budapest.
Cloudy orange coloured, medium sized white head, yeasty nose with touch of meat. Yeasty, acidic fruity and some vanilla with notes of orange peel. A bit lack of body but refreshing. Slightly acidic dry finish. All in all average weizen.

Super hazy brown, muddy colour body with a ruby glow and a thin, fast-dying tan head. Aroma of honey, strong malt, yeast, bread, figs and a touch of pears-very nice! Medium-bodied; Very effervescent with a very mild yeast and wheat flavour, some lemon and citrus tastes and a mild sweetness on the end. Aftertaste is nice and sweet with a mild bready/yeastie flavour. Nice and potent but pretty mild at the end. Overall, a nice dunkles, sweet and flavourful without leaving too much on the palate. I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased from Ambrosetti for less than one € in Berlin, Germany on 30-December-2010 sampled at my hotel room in Amsterdam, The Netherlands on 03-January-2011.

Bottle: Deep amber coloured, hazy - but not cloudy - with a medium-sized persistent beige head; moderate to solid vinous-caramelly nose with a distinctive wheaty touch; solid sweet-sourish flavour, soft and medium bodied; increasing caramelly flavours in the sweet vinous-wheaty finish. Pretty good and well rounded Weizenbock.....
