Description
Living Häus Beer Co is a lager-forward brewery located in the Pacific Northwest city of Portland, OR and is co-owned by Conrad Andrus and Mat Sandoval. With a combined 20 years of professional brewing experience, we have become creators, engineers, scientists, artists, and critical thinkers while on our path to brew the best beers we can. We are proud to showcase our ability in our craft with the self awareness to know that we are always learning and growing.
WHAT DO WE MAKE?
We aim to make clean, intentional, and curious beers in our brewery. Explorative, yet refined versions of classic and upcoming styles such as Lager beer, IPA, Stouts, sessionable, restrained fruited beers, and everything in between will have a home on our menu. We strive to use unique and expressive hand selected malts and hops from the best growing regions in the world.
HOW ARE WE DIFFERENT?
We are different because our collective and unique experiences have driven us to the cutting edge of the beer industry. Through our exploration of styles and ingredients, we have developed our ability to make beers that are extreme but have more so learned to make beers that are balanced, nuanced, and delicious.

Draft pour enjoyed in the early parts of the day at Route 2, Monroe. Tasty coffee morning brew. Dark cola pour, thin head. Aroma is chocolate forward, with a modest coffee roast and just a hint of coconut. Came off as a coffee porter to me. Easy drinker, eey smooth brew. Very much enjoy this one.

Can from Tavour. Pours bright gold with a decent white head. Aroma is lightly bready with a spice note. Near med body. Malty, but rather dry. Lightly bitter in a light spice/Noble way. Different and refreshing.

Draft at Proeflokaal De Hoppenaar, on an evening with nice beers and good company. Didn't take notes, so this is what I remember: Hoppy, citrus, a lot of grapefruit. Nice bitterness.

16 ounce can from Tavour. Bright medium gold pour. Rocky white head. Fresh grainy malt aroma has herbal qualities. Soft, biscuity malt base. Herbal, citrus hops offer a wonderful, subtle balance. The German hop bill allows this tasty Pils to rival the great brews of Franconia.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear dark brown with a light tan creamy head. Aroma is that nice German caramel/Tmavy malt. Med body. Flavor is that nice malt with some grass/spice. Starts malty but seems to go towards dry in the finish. Very nice.
