On tap at the original Boise BP Hazy redish amber. Nice aroma of woody pine trees. Flavor is more of the same but not the harsh bite that some other spruce beers can have. Nice smooth palate and a full body. Just right.

12oz can. Pours out black topped with a tan/brown head. Nose is sweet milk chocolate, whisky, oak, and vanilla. Taste is as the nose with a faint barrel, chocolate, booze, vanilla, and more sweetness. I love the fact that this good BA imp stout is in a can. The simple silver can looks awsome aswell.

On tap at Sockeye Brew Pub. Pours out a amber/gold topped with a off white head. Nose is all spruce needles WOW it is really fun. They tossed in 16lbs of needles along the way, back to the nose some sweetness, floral hops and a litte earth. Taste is more of the spruce along with a rich malt bill, floral hops, wood, and the earth notes show up again. A really fun and tasty one. Keep it up Guys!!!

On Tap at the original Boise BP. In a tulip. hazy golden orange with a ice white head. Up front whiskey aroma and soft saison pepary spices. Tart light malt flavors and a fairly prominent JD character as well. Interesting combination. Never had a saison barrell aged before. This works.

1 pint can from Jerry’s. Points for trying, this seems like it’s trying to be a Belgian blonde. Slightly tangy, citrusy nose on top of pure grain backbone. Pours light golden with short silky head, decent lacing. Taste also has some citrusy hops before becoming a grain beer.

On tap at the original Boise BP. Deep orange with a small but dense sandy colored head. Big citrus peel aroma. Huge resiny citrus flavor. Quite sweet and heavy palate. Long lingering classic west coast IPA bitter trailer. Very smooth and slick with soft carbonation.

Special brewed for the Coops anniversary, and very well done. Hazy pale golden with thick, fluffy, but silky head. Flowery, yeasty, doughy, mildly spicy, smooth and tasty (savor it for a minute, let it warm slightly). Right up there with the French farmhouse ales and saisons. Thoroughly enjoyable.
