Draft: Pours a murky brown amber with a thick off-white head. Nice lacing. Sweet and malty with a strong presence of dark fruits. The normal Belgian style spices, yeasty, and with citrus & banana accents.

On Tap at the brewpub. Slightly hazy light yellow/orange with a full off white head. Very light aroma of pale malts, and a hint of the German variety of the Hef species. Very slight though. Flavor is overshadowd by the ultra light pillowy soft feel. More like club soda than beer. A hint of wheat malts and a trace of the spices Jake desceibes. Extremely light wheat beer. Which I don’t mind sometimes, just not much to make you order another pint. Moderately fissy and a slight papery malt trailer.

On Tap at the brewpub. Hazy orange amber with a modest sized but dense creamy light tan head. Lacing is coarse and spotty. Malty belgian yeasty sweet aroma. Damp potting soil and over ripe bananas. Flavor was at first classic sweet malty Belgian but quickly reveals an odd metallic chalky slant. woody and a bit of beauty bark. Full smooth palate and a fairly soft carbonation. Some of that banana and clove spice on the trailor but subdued and mild. Odd and somewhat forgettable.

Draft: Cloudy golden/orange color with a medium white head and moderate lacing. Nose is citrus and wheat with a bit of spices. The taste is orange, bananas, wheat, cloves, and a slight spiciness that I can’t pinpoint. Very light bitters and a lingering crisp, citrus finish. Overall impression is very good.

Draft: Yellow pour with a medium white head and light lacing. Nose is mild of yeast, breadiness, and fruit? The taste confirms a hint of fruits with light breadiness and hints of bitters. Different than I expected, but not bad.

Draft: Pours a chestnut brown with reddish notes. Smaller white head and light lacing. Nose is heavy on the malt with earth tones and caramel. The taste is more malt oriented with a toasty feel, earthiness, and nuts. A sweeter maltier feel overall. Not bad.

Draft: Pours a reddish copper color with a lasting head and good lacing. Nose of citrus and piney hops, some malt. The taste is more citrus hop dominated, but a nice malt balance too. Some caramel notes. A piney hop bitterness in the trailer.

Draft: Pours a very dark amber with reddish tones, large white head, and thick lacing. Nose is faint malt, earthiness, and floral hops. The taste is more of hops than of malt; a little earthiness and some florals. Lingering finish of light bitters. Different from the mainstream ambers I’ve tried recently - in a good way.

Draft: Golden, clear pour with a large white head and thick, sheet lacing. Nose is a modest floral hop and malty combo. Taste is malty, fruity, and ends with a lingering bitter dryness. Very pleasant.
