Country #194. Many thanks to Mariusz for this rare sample. Bitter grainy beginning. Lots of neutral bitterness with a grainy back. Dense and deep in aroma, but somehow strange with a grainy bitter finish.

Dzieki Marian. piwo z centralnej afryki nie jest takie zle jak sadzilem, jeden z lepszych piw z tego kontynentu i to po testach tylko probki, zadziwiajace jest to jak wyraznie czulo sie goryczke w tym piwie. Moze ze wzgledu na panujacy klimat gozki smak lepszy bedzie niz slodki w takim upale, nawet syknelo to piwo babelki sie pojawily, mala pianka, co nieco zostawila slad na kieliszku degustacyjnym do wina.

Bouteille 33cl au Pilier de Niamey; BB 11/12/2018. De couleur brune plus axée sur ambre, col blanc-cassé crémeux. Arôme offre un bouquet assez simple mais efficace pour le Niger. Fines effluves de carapils sur un petit côté chocolaté. En rétro un léger effet houblonné fleuri et citronné dans une lignée noble qui se fait plus prononcé tant que la mousse est présente. En rétro un côté grillé/choco reprend un peu de place. Palais est plaisant orienté malt carapils, ambre, pâle léger chocolaté avec une certaine amertume latente des grains. Un léger houblonné citronné arrive en retrait. Effet de profil plutôt belge qui apparait très classique. Évaluée sur la scène nigérienne, c'est plus que correct et c'est cela que je note.
