Dimpled mug at the brewery, pours a mostly clear, burnt orange with some sudsy white head. Nose has C hops (duh) and some malt, honey, some crystal malt, soap. The malt fades as the resinous soapy hops shine. Pithy, bitter. Some malt, maybe even crystal malt, hangs at the back. Finishes bitter and dry.

Sampled at the soft opening. Pours a murky yellow, plenty of creamy white head. Standard haze, some honey comb, light orange blossom, pineapple curd, some passionfruit candy. Flavor has some light sweetness, clearly some oats or lactose holding up the body, then the tropicals layer over the top. Finishes medium bodied, creamy. It's drinkable.
