Description
It all has started with a dream. OK, let's be honest, it's started with a glass of beer. Brewed by someone else.
Dream big. Always dream big, you know. We started small because at the beginning the only thing we had was our dream. We haven't owned any equipment, so our first brews were born at other city and other mash tun entirely. But we took one step at the time and soon our very own, very handcrafted and assembled by hand brewery arrived from Bila Tserkva. We installed it here in Kyiv at the premises of the former lumber house – “lisopylka” in Ukrainian, hence the name of the brew-pub – and continued the pursuit of our dream.
Today we have new state-of-the-art brewery and immensely proud of it. Don't think that we discarded our small but utterly loved old brewing system, because we have, yes you've guessed, BIG plans for it. And we keep on dreaming big. We just want to share this dream of better beer, sheer enjoyment of the drink, greater and more diverse beer culture, share it with you.

Black colored, medium tan creamy head, rather lasting. Aroma is of malt, dark chocolate and coffee, milky lactose, some dark berries, roasty malt, Taste is medium sweet roasty malt, coffee, dark berries, lactose, some burnt notes, medium+ roasty bitterness, dryish finish with a lacto underlayer. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bit creamy. Not as sweet as some, but more on the roasty bitter side, too much so even.

Hazy, golden-yellow colored, small white soapy head. Aroma is of wheat, yeasty, coriander, some orange notes, bready. Taste is medium sweet wheat, bready, some yeasty notes, coriander and light orange, spicy light bitterness, dryish bready finish. Light+ bodied, soft+ carbonation, bit watery. Maybe not the best Wit but pretty decent, a shame Sorachi doesn't break through that much.

Clear, deeper golden colored, small+ white frothy head, not that lasting. Aroma is of malt, fruity esters, some spicy yeasty notes, caramel, some diacetyl. Taste is medium+ sweet malt, caramel, plenty of estery notes, bit yeasty, light spice, even more diacetyl, medium spicy and herbal bitterness, some biscuit, bit of veggies also. Medium bodied, average carbonation, oily. Feels like something went awry in a generally OK brew.

Opaque dark brown, espresso head. Smells like dark crystal sugars, minimal cooking chocolate, some alcohol soaked prunes. No roasty, coffee, chocolate notes. Mundane, but passable. Similar taste - mostly dark sugars and alcohol, moderate hoppy bitterness. Not bad in a way - resembles those old style, macro-swallowed Baltic porters - but not up to the quality of modern micro impies.

Clear deep ruby, nice tan head - looks good. The aroma seems to have some nice caramel malts but there's just too much fresh green peas, pumpkin and zucchini over them. And it says there for very long. Taste: not very sophisticated (and not that sweet) caramel and dark fruit, but then the pungent and spicy earthy bitterness with notes smoking dried leaves makes you forget all the complaints. Rich, but dangerously easy drinking, alcohol well hidden. Like it.
