Description
It all has started with a dream. OK, let's be honest, it's started with a glass of beer. Brewed by someone else.
Dream big. Always dream big, you know. We started small because at the beginning the only thing we had was our dream. We haven't owned any equipment, so our first brews were born at other city and other mash tun entirely. But we took one step at the time and soon our very own, very handcrafted and assembled by hand brewery arrived from Bila Tserkva. We installed it here in Kyiv at the premises of the former lumber house – “lisopylka” in Ukrainian, hence the name of the brew-pub – and continued the pursuit of our dream.
Today we have new state-of-the-art brewery and immensely proud of it. Don't think that we discarded our small but utterly loved old brewing system, because we have, yes you've guessed, BIG plans for it. And we keep on dreaming big. We just want to share this dream of better beer, sheer enjoyment of the drink, greater and more diverse beer culture, share it with you.

Tap at Lisopylka. Cloudy rose-pink. Pinkish head. Sour fruit, can’t catch any sweetness, young green astringency. Tart vaguely fruity taste, a just a bit of residual fruity sweetness, a tad thinnish. Some sauerkraut. Okish.

Tap at Lisopylka. Hazy golden. Clear fruity, banana, not much hops or spice in the nose. Similar taste, with moderate astringent hoppiness. Decent.

Tap at Lisopylka. Slightly hazy copper, beige head. Toasted malts, even some caramel but not much acidity coming through. Vaguely South taste - not at all in the acetic winey Flanders way. That abrasive mineral brewpubish young lager mouthfeel. Not much Flanders here, I’m a afraid.

Tap at Lisopylka. Almost clear golden. Fruity and estery, with a light yeasty spice. Sweetish fruity taste, pear drops, some astringency and a sharp butter bite in the finish. Weird, regardless of whatever style it is.

Tap at Lisopylka. Slightly hazy golden-amber, nice lacing. Some fruity hops and loads of lollipops, rotten fruit and meaty yeast as well. So are flavour, though not that aggressive. Clean spicy hoppy finish. A tad thinnish. Not much IPA.

Tap at Lisopylka. Cloudy palest greenish straw/borș acru, good lacing. Nice hoppy aroma indeed, tart citrus, lemony and quite dank. Notes of sorbet. Similar hoppy taste, with just subtle malts supporting the hops, soft powdery mouthfeel, soft dank hoppy finish. A good one.
