Can pour from the brewery. It's a clear, dark brown-mahogany with nice sparkle, finger-plus width khaki foam head with fair retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong peanut butter over earthy roasted malts. Taste is moderately strong peanut but quickly fades. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation and crisp finish as taste with lingering bitter roasted peanut finish. Overall, decent strength of peanut butter and avoids bitter/rancid aspect of so many PB stouts. Low ABV, Irish version so avoids decadence of higher ABV styles. Taste is a bit fleeting.

16 oz. can in a trade with tfontana. Thanks Big Dawg!! Aroma is soft chocolate with a nice steady peanut butter. The flavor shows the peanut butter but not nearly as strong as the aroma would imply. Overall good body and texture for a lower ABV stout.
