On tap at Hellbender. Dark sour. Not too sour. Some malt and some balsamic vinegar. Some black tea and some smoke. Solid. Long finish. 7 3 7 4 13

12 oz. can, pours a hazy orangey golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of strawberries, gentle lacto, and gentle tartness. Flavour is very tart, with quite acidic strawberries… not much else to speak of. Finishes acidic with plenty of sour strawberries. Not great.

Bottle from source: pours gold with white head. Aroma is lightly funky with those sour ale citra hops adding a veritable fruity character. Taste is sweetish, tangy, slightly tart.

750ml bottle pours an inky purple, no head. Basically still. Nose has blueberry, lemon, some barrel or maybe vanilla, lightly vegetal. Flavor is berry and cherry, some malt, lemon. Medium bodied, tart finish.

Bottle from brewery: pours clear yellow with big fizzy head. Aroma is flowers and brett. Bretty without being too earthy or bitter. Floral notes come out well.

Can at the July 2023 DC RB Tasting. Poured a slightly cloudy orange color, medium sized white head. Aroma was big strawberries. Strawberry pie notes, very tasty - really enjoyed the flavor in this one.

Can at the July 2023 DC RB Tasting. Poured a mostly clear yellowish color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was floral hops, some light bitterness. Touch of citrus peel, lemon, light and easy to drink. Tasty stuff. Liked the lower ABV on this one.

Slim Redbull style can pours a lightly hazy orange with no head. Nose has strawberry, rhubarb and lemon juice. Flavor is lemony, rhubarb, lime, some clear white port. A lot happening for 3.8%. Acetic, medium bodied finish.
