Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - deep amber to brown with red chinks. The head is fizzy and falls away quickly. Nose - interesting sour treacle going on. Salted caramel and tamarind since I know its in there. Taste - salt, chocolate, caramel and tamarind. Soy sauce and generally savoury. Palate - medium bodied, tangy sweet and.sour and a salty finish. Overall - complex and interesting.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - cloudy yellow with a nicely proportioned snow white head. Nose - orange and papaya with an edge of tart and resin. Taste - ripe melon, papaya, orange zest and resin. Palate - not so tart on the palate. Light bodied, lightly dry finish. Overall - good.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - cloudy yellow with no head. Nose - funky popcorn and cooked peas and lentils. Taste - mushy peas, boiled lentils, with a tangy backdrop. Palate - light to medium bodied, tangy sour middle and finish. Overall - quite brave to do a non fruited Gose. It's challenging but once you've worked out you're not drinking the juice from a tin of mushy peas, it gives back to you.

Can from the internet. It pours lightly hazy golden yellow with a dissipating white head. The aroma is sweet - sour, tart, juicy, bright, big grapefruit character, tangerine, touch of marmalade, apricot and lemonade. The taste is dry, sweet - sour, bright, tart, juicy, tangy grapefruit, tangerine, blood orange, pithy, zesty, marmalade, gummy bears and nip of pine with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Works very well. Moreish.

Can from an unknown location. It pours cloudy bright pale orange with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, green, damp grass, dankness, bright tropical fruits vibes, peach, sticky ripe mango, papaya, apricot jam and orange gummy bears. The taste is bitter - sweet, green, weedy, pine, sappy, floury bread, apricot, peach, mango, papaya, pithy, zesty, kumquat, tangerine and nip of peppery spice with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Rather impressive stuff. Can these guys do no wrong?
