500ml can from Craft Metropolis. Poured almost black in colour with a short-lived, fizzy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, big coffee. The flavour is moderate sweet and liqourice bitter, with a smooth, rich, slightly oily, roasted malt, liqourice, light chocolate, big dry spicy coffee palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Can ordered from Hop, Black & Burns. Aroma has sharp berries with underlying sweetness. An attractive hazy orange tinged pale pink. Thin translucent white head. Medium-heavy sour. The redcurrant (as grown in my Grandparents' garden) provides bite but it nevertheless manages to be subtle. A pineapple juice sweetness appears into the finish. Medium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Easy drinking and pleasant sour. Again not sure what the point of the IPA part really is, it may as well just be a fruited sour. Still hits the spot though.

Can ordered from Hop, Black & Burns. Blackcurrant tartness, peach sweetness and savoury porridge aroma. Hazy puple tinged red. Foamy violet head. Initial light fruitiness followed by wave of tart Peach and Blackcurrant. Underlying custardy sweetness. Medium bodied. Creamy. Slightly pithy. Long somewhat astringent finish. Hmmm. Essentially a Sour NEIPA. Nice enough, just do we really need Sour NEIPA?

Can ordered from Hop, Burns & Black. Aroma is fruity with an onion streak. Waxy pale orange. Foamy white head. Medium bitter. Resin and stone fruit. Followed by a wave of sweet fruitiness into the finish, alongside the bitterness. Medium bodied. Oily. Flat-average carbonation. Long astringent finish. Hits the spot. Although why the brewery don't reference the fact that this is a NEIPA anywhere bemuses me.
