16/11/2021. Draught at BrewDog, Milton Keynes. Pours cloudy pale orange with a frothy white head. Aroma of grapefruit, guava, orange, pineapple, vanilla, lactose, touch of nut and herb. Moderate sweetness and moderate sour with a very slight salty edge. Medium body, soft carbonation. Very nice tart and bitters finish. Enjoyed this.

New house beer at Greenwich Brewpub, Southsea. Used to be Makemake Pizza Planet (this is 0.5 points lower in ABV) but I guess they wanted something more on brand and are perhaps preparing for Makemake's forthcoming move to their own premises. Very juicy sweet citrus aroma. Hazy neon orange. Foamy white head. Medium bitter. Resinous. The promised sweet citrus is there but sits back. Spicy edge. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Pithy. Average carbonation. Long dry quite astringent finish. Decent house beer.

Keg at Meat & Barrel, Southsea. A hint of sour fruit but aroma is minimal. Hazy pale gold. Thin creamy translucent white head. Medium-heavy sour. Tart. Lemon juice. Bitter edge. Underlying tropical fruits. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat-average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Light and refreshing.

Can ordered from Premier Hop, Pudsey. Aroma has vanilla over roasty malty chocolate. Dark. Inky. Thick foamy beige head. Sweet vanilla tinged molasses core which has a sour edge. This really bulldozes through. Underlying bitter chocolate. Thick bodied. Creamy. Average carbonation. Long astringent finish. I'm finding this overly sweet. Diabetes seems a real threat. It's fine in small doses but 440ml is more than enough for me.
