2nd July 2025
Can. A very hazy topaz colour brew with a decent cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Fluffy malts, a mellow creamy sweetness. Light pine and a little hop spice. Soft but reasonably bright generic fruits. Smooth mild savoury skunk underneath. A touch of hop spice on the back end. Whisper of creamy toffee as well! I find Rakau an enigmatic hop and this brew underlines that. Digging deeper in to the generic fruits reveals a little strawberry, some ripe soft peach and a forensic amount of lime. This ain't a complete profile though, other things going on. Perhaps it's not like anything else, it's just Rakau flavour! The overall effect is very pleasant.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 26/06/2025.
Murky marmalade orange topped with a lasting off white head.
Nose is ripe tropicana, grass, pine needle, mandarin, mango pulp, lychee.
Taste comprises bitter orange, guava, pine resin, mango flesh, light stone fruit.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness.
Solid DIPA ... perhaps running a touch overly sweet for my liking but pretty much kept in check.

Can. A mild to medium haze on this orange gold beer, decent bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, a light creamy sweetness. Light cooling pine over light and reasonably bright citrus and stone fruits, a pleasing savoury streak. A light crisp and semi dry finish. Juicy, light and drinkable.
