Tried at the Bourne Festival, 2015. Golden colour with a foamy white head. Citrus hope aroma, with a light bitter finish. Very drinkable, but not the best.

Half pint, cask at the brewpub Flower Pot in Derby. Clear amber coloured body. Lacing rings down the glass. Smell of caramel and dried fruits. Toffee and brittle caramel offset by hints of dried fruits. Bitter endnotes. Decent version of the style (20.02.2015).

Cask, gravity at The National Winter Ales Festival, Derby, Friday 13th February 2015 Fine however many might describe this as a rather boring, brown, twiggy bitter, of course I cannot comment on whether I agree for fear of offending, suffice to say I am unimpressed, actually I am being a tad harsh, it’s okay. A6 A3 T5 P3 Ov11. 2.8

Cask, gravity at The National Winter Ales Festival, Derby, Friday 13th February 2015 Pours light gold with a white head. Not the best beer, a little dusty, stale and rather drab, though the dry bit in the description was correct. This is a new brewery so hopefully they’ll improve, but on this showing, it is just like my school report i.e. ’could do better ’ A5 A4 T5 P3 Ov10 2.7
