On tap at Yeccan, pours a clear murky dark brown with a large beige head. Aroma has toasted malt and gentle earthy hops—pretty timid for a triple black IPA. Flavour is more forceful, with earthy, bittering hops, some roast, and toasted bread. Again, pretty timid for a triple black IPA, but there’s nice balance and depth. Good.

Flavour is quite bitter, with plenty of earthy bittering hops and toasted malt. Not particularly deep or complex, but the bitterness is there; doesn’t have the malt or hop depth. Decent.

Flavour is pretty light and lacking depth, with cocoa and toasted malt upfront, with gentle cherries. Pretty lifeless body with a totally unconvincing malt base. Keg at Yeccan, Mexico City. Clear deep golden, mid sized. Tangerine, grapefruit and bread up front. Mid sweet with light to medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Grapefruit and sweet bread. Piney, bitter finish with some rubbery smoke.

Keg at Yeccan, Mexico City. Near black, mid sized beige head. Aroma of coffee, licorice and black currant. Sweet with medium to full body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and licorice, coffee and black currant. Long bitter finish.
