7/10
Good peat, caramel, nuts, not much smoke. After initial flavor, kind of tapers off.

Bottle: Medium depth golden orange, translucent, and quite a bit of creamy white head. Nose is sweet and minimally hoppy. Citrus, tropical fruits, and caramel. Picking up a little bit of grain too. Nice flavor from a more floral hops beginning, into light citrus and a soothing malt backbone. Not a lot of bitterness. Seems akin to an APA rather than IPA, but I like the intention here... good flavor overall, refreshing, and very approachable. Probably not going to get much love on RB, but this is a big step for craft beer in North Dakota.

Bottle: Clear amber pour with a finger of creamy beige head that fades quickly. No real lacing to speak of. At first, the aroma seems boring; bready malt and a little metallic. As it warms the peat and light florals come through... going from bland to pretty nice. Dry taste is bready, peat, and florals. A little caramel too. Clean finish.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of fruits and wheat. The flavor is sweet with notes of peaches, wheat, and lemons, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
