Can. Earthy chocolate malt and weedy grass aroma. Black with nice tan head. Lactic acid, light chocolate malt, and mildly bitter grass flavor. Okay body. Pretty acidic.

Can: Deep brown/black with a thick, dark oatmeal head. A hint of lactic/metallic in the caramel and cocoa scent. Taste is a touch of sour milk, chocolate malt. Pretty good, but a little on the tangy side, overall.

Thx! to tderoeck(?not sure?). 355 ml. can sampled @ RBBSG V. Dark brown, little head. Nose is basic herbal chocolate, sweet milk chocolate, easy, low syrup, soft carbonation. Taste is decent easy sweet chocolate, low bitterness, milk chocolate, easy to drink, medium sweet, no real bitterness,… Soft carbonation, easy chocolate soy milk body. Pretty good easy beer. Simple but satisfactory.

Sampled @ Ratebeer Belgian Summer Gathering 2016. Almost opaque dark brown to black color, small beige head. Smell and taste malts, lightly sour, but also nice porter notes. Overall though the flavors that -imo shouldn’t be in there- dominate the nice but unfortunately underlying soft roast and mild chocolate flavors. So overall, meh.

Clear dark brown beer, small to no head. Aroma: very roasted, coffee, mocha, caramel, bit sweet. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: surprisingly sourish start, fruity, some red berries, strawberries. Aftertaste: soft roast, sourish, bit lemony even. Weird, yet decent.

Poured from a 12 oz can. Aroma is malt forward with moderately strong roast notes, some lighter chocolate and a bit of toasted bread. Light notes of dark caramel and toffee as well. Moderate dark fruit notes of prunes and raisins. A light smokey, ash note in the aroma. Pours a very dark brown, but not quite black with a medium sized, thick, creamy, mocha head that recedes slowly to a thin film that lingers thicker on the edges. Moderate lacing and no legs. Flavor is moderately sweet with a strong malt presence. Lots of roast with a bit lighter notes of dark chocolate. Light notes of toasted bread, dark caramel and toffee. A bit of a smokey, ash, tobacco and leather note. Medium light notes of prunes, raisin and plum. Medium bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low, but present astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty simple porter but nicely made. Very clean, great malt profile, nice fruit esters. Brewed perfectly to style, but that also means it’s a bit boring. I can’t think of the last time I had a regular old robust porter, so this is pretty enjoyable.

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Pours very dark brown colour with a small tan head. Aroma of dark mild roasted malt and tart fruits. Taste of mild tart red fruits, wood, coffee powder, strange!

Many thanks to jsquire for this can! Smooth and dry body with some sourish hints. The sourness gets a bit more intense, very fruity (red fruits, wood). The malt basis is dry with not much bitterness there. Roasted grain, dry caramel. Espresso hints with sourish red fruits. Very nice combination, easy to drink and still full bodied. Probably the sourness is a bit too intense, but still round and smooth.
