Taster at the brewery. Pours a clear, pale, cider-like color, with no head. The aroma is white wine, lemon, hay, and light cream. Sweet and sharp. Light body, with an acidic, syrupy feel. Interesting!

Tap at the brewery - apparently made with tripel malt and a Norwegian yeast strain - a lot of the character from both of those things is swallowed up by the intensity of the hops, which are a little abrasive and sharp at times.

10 ounce at the brewery - hazy dark orange - sticky, thick lace - has a juicy and citric hop character that is much more like an IPA than a bdm - there is some rich underlying malt character, slight earthy/dustiness, finishing moderately fruity, but yes, much more like an IPA - not a bad beer, just not at all what I was expecting.

12 oz. can. Pours a clear, bronze color, with a big, bubbly, off-white head. The nose is butterscotch, pine, orange peel, and taffy. Sweet and syrupy, with a mild bitterness. Light to medium body, with a creamy, flat mouthfeel. Pretty nice, but the esters are a little strange.
