Crowler thanks to Mike! Pours lightly hazy straw, small white head, fizzy and quick to dissipate with a touch of lacing. Aroma is unripe mango, sea air, sour mash, dust, pepper. Flavor is light tart, light salty, unripe mango. Pepper notes are so light that I would not pick them out blind; slightly more present in aroma. No heat to speak of. Light body, low carbonation. Decent.

Crowler thanks to Mike! Pours clear golden, large white head, dissipates slowly with nice lacing. Dank aroma with pot, papaya and other tropical fruits with a pine backer. Flavor is light sweet, medium bitter, juicy indeed. Medium body. Nice. A bit bitter for my tastes, but I think it would be hugely appreciated by the West Coast IPA crew.

Crowler thanks to Mike! Pours slightly hazy orange, large creamy white head, dissipates slowly with great lacing. Aroma is slightly muted citra hops, tropical, dank, hints of melon and orange zest. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter, dank, hints of stonefruit, grass, mango. Medium body, soft mouthfeel. Different, but I ilke it.

On tap at First Draft, pours a hazy pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out herbal, dank hops, a touch of pine and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with plenty of dank, herbal hops and dry biscuity malt. Nice herbal and dank hop character. Solid.

Pint at the brewery - turbid, milky gold (I guess this is a New England IPA) - as usual, this is a solid IPA, but less enjoyable than some of the other hop Sequence beers - the bitterness is slightly abrasive, which is very unusual for this brewer - the is a grapefruit pith character that is a little too bitter, and some sprouted garlic in the background that makes it less enjoyable - however, there are plenty of tasty notes of tropical fruit, pepper, herbs that still make it relatively enjoyable overall.

Pint at the brewery - clear light copper - full, frothy texture in the mouth - dry, clean, and crisp, with strong notes of pepper, pine, orange peel, grapefruit - strong, firm bitterness, but a clean malt sweetness swells through the finish to balance it out - well done.

5 ounce at the brewery - love what they’ve done here - complex and strong, but delicate and subtle - flavors of honey, white grape, oak, apricot, vanilla - but a light and refreshing body, despite the strength - finish is dry, moderately spicy, with lingering oak - darn good.

Pint at the brewery - lightly hazy amber - creamy texture - aroma and flavor of moderate fruit and toffee maltiness, along with bright citric and woody hoppiness that play well off of each other, with the brighter hop notes being the star of the show, the malt never becoming sticky or lingering on the palate - finish of spicy hops and dark bread - good.

This beer is a clear pale golden color with a medium ivory white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of citrus, vanilla and malt. Light-bodied with a citrus and vanilla character, with some wheat and malt in the background. The finish is creamy with an orange vanilla aftertaste. Decent overall.
