Keg at CBC Islington. Pours almost clear with a greenish tinge. Smells of perfumy parma violets and red bull. Tastes is initially sweet but calms down into a vimto style drink. Sexond foray into mead. Not too bad but not a style I’ll rush for

Bottle courtesy of tkrjukoff. Pours hazy deep reddish blue with a small pinkish white head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is fruity with crackers, bilberries, lemon juice, yoghurt, minerals and lemon zest. Taste is sour and fruity. Mouthfeel is dry, tart and light to medium bodied. Finish is sour with crackers, lemon juice, bilberries, yoghurt, hay, minerals, white chocolate and lemon zest. Great fruited berliner. Highly refreshing! --- Beer merged from original tick of Ich Bin Ein Berliner Barrel-Aged Blueberry White Sour on 15 Aug 2015 at 19:05 - Score: 8

Bottle courtesy of tkrjukoff. Pours hazy pale yellow with a small frothy white head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is tiny fruity with crackers, lemon juice, yoghurt, grapefruit juice, pineapple, moist grass, dry soil, minerals and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sour, slightly bitter, slightly fruity and slightly grassy. Mouthfeel is dry, tiny tart and light bodied. Finish is tiny sour with crackers, lemon juice, grapefruit juice, yoghurt, hay, dry soil and lemon zest. Not sour enough I think and a bit grassy, chlorophyll-centered, in the dry-hopping. Live hoppy sours so I look forward to further experiments in this genre. --- Beer merged from original tick of Ich Bin Ein Berliner Mosaic Dry Hopped on 15 Aug 2015 at 14:54 - Score: 6
