Quite hazy golden coloured and light straw body with a very large, seven to eight centimetre tall off-white but very creamy and microfoamed head that fades slowly. Aroma of very subdued dry notes with a lot of grass, hay, flowers and apricots, but pretty mild throughout the aroma - not much here, actually. Light-bodied; Relatively crisp herbal, grassy and floral notes show at first with a perfumey bite and some fake aspartamey sugar notes that add to the bitterness, with a deeper hit of pungency and astringency from the malts here instead of the relatively soft hops. Aftertaste is clean-drinking, but bitter, mainly from the dry, grassy notes, but some grainy malt aspects are here, and seemingly the only support comes from light apricot and stone fruit sugars at the end. Overall, decent at best, really, with a very crisp bite of dryness throughout and no movement on complexity here. Not super hoppy, but also fairly bitter. Not a horrible beer, but probably not worth space in your suitcase...I'm glad I drove this one home. I sampled this sixteen ounce can, purchased from The Beer Cave @ Bob's Sunoco in Callaway, Maryland on 10-May-2022 for US$4,50, canned on 15-April-2022 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 24-June-2022.

Very hazy, ultra large-bubbled head of a tan and light yellow glow, all about 8 centimetres tall, super soapy that leaves very ugly, spotting lace on the sides, once it fully fades, above the 90 per cent opaque deep copper body. Aroma of fruits, caster sugar, rich wheat, oranges, apricots and a faint bit of fruity candy, all very strong in the nose, at least. Medium to almost Full-bodied; Very strong orangey and apricoty flavours show at first with a big, grassy and rich kick of malts right behind, but the sugars and herbal notes show stronger, somehow and full of flavours. Aftertaste is pungent from the apricot, orange and pretty fruity notes with a good balance across-the-board with a lot of malt, hops, grass and of course sugars and fruit, but this still shows as an IPA. Overall, a newer school IPA for sure, but showing some nice notes throughout, just no bubble gum notes, but the can is pretty cool, as an older [real] Bubble Yum fan! Nice to try fresh and on the East Coast here! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from The Beer Cave @ Bob's Sunoco in Callaway, Maryland on 10-May-2022 for US$4,50, canned on 18-February-2022 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 03-June-2022.

If this mystery is sour junk, then i guessed it. Pinkish orange pour with ok head. Very tart finish. Not a lot of character here. Tap99 pour.
