Bottle. Exstreemly bad beer. OK head and colour. But awful aroma and flavor. Exstermely watery and fizzy. Went down the drain.

Lightly hazed golden, sickly when poured, with a thin collapsing white head. Rather strawy oxidized malt aroma. In mouth, uninspiring dry malt with oxidized notes, no hops, short and watery in mouth. Bottle is from Beers of the World, probably bought in early 2005.

A pale orange beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is very light with slight notes of malt. The flavor is sweet and lovely hoppy and malty - much like a good Czech pils.

Dark brown colour. Longlasting thick beige head. Sweet malty aroma with hints of dark fruits. Sweet flavor with hints of chocolate, caramel and raisin. Sweet and a little thin finish with no bitterness.

Beer no. 14 of my Slovenian beerhunt. Big thick white head. Went away fast. Pale golden colour. Very light lemony and malty aroma. Nondescript taste, weak hop taste with some weak but quite nice fruity malt. Weak hoppy aftertaste. Not bad at all.

A clear brown beer with a huge brown head. The aroma is sweet and very malty combined with notes of caramel and toffee. The flavor is sweet with main notes of caramel, but also light notes of flowers and metal, leading to a dry end.

(Bottle 33 cl) Presumably there was a summer campaign for "Smile" on Rhodes this year - the back label is in Greek but the beer turns out to be Slovenian. And indeed it is your typical summer beer aimed at the "Corona-segment" - just better. Fully golden with a white, creamy head. Hoppy aroma, hoppy flavour but absolutely no bitterness on the palate. High drinkability. 230905

Pour is yellow with a white head. Aroma is corny and metalic. Flavor is not that bad b/c there is not much to it. Goes down clean and a bit of citrus. Better than the smile but not much.

Pour is a bright yellow with a big foamy white head. Aroma is of course skunk thanks to the clear bottle. Flavor is syrupy and bland. Smile? More like frown.

(Bottle 33 cl) Very dark if not exactly opaque. Small off-white head. Slightlt sweetish with some roasted - if not exactly burned - notes. Light hops. Quite pleasant. Close to a "Schwarzbier" or perhaps even an English "porter". 290405
