0,33 l swing top bottle. Pale golden, little bit unclear, nearly two finger off white head. Grassy and hay on the nose. Taste has some caramel, grassy with sweetness, low malt in the background. Low bitterness for a Pilsener. Medicore.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Freigeist / Bierlager Strammer Max ].[ Trade by Koelschtrinker ]. Clear medium orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dusty, light nutty, moderate to light heavy hoppy, citrus, sweet fruit, sweet hops, dried fruit, dusty grass, pine - grapefruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, sweet fruit, sweet hops, dried fruit, hop bitter, caramel, spicy - peppery hops, malty. 330ml bottle. Milky, amber colour with average, creamy, fairly lasting and lacing, white head. Slightly sugary, crystal and caramel malty aroma, fruity hoppy notes of mandarine, orange, orange zest, some pine. Taste is bitter and citrusy fruity hoppy, notes of orange, orange zest, mandarine, moderately sweet caramel malty, a grassy hoppy touch in the finish. Very drinkable and juicy.

0.33 l bottle at ’Road Stop’ (Dortmund) as ’Original Road Stop Classic Pilsener’, best before January 2017. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, grassy-spicy and slightly fruity aroma of fresh grass, grains and some citrus. Sweetish, grassy-spicy and a bit fruity taste of fresh grass, citrus and grains, followed by a short, medium bitter, quite grassy and slightly dry finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Okay Pils!

0.33 l bottle from ’Bierlager’, best before February 2017. Clear, orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, stable, off-white head. Sweetish, very fruity and a little resiny aroma of orange, tangerine, passion fruit, some mango and a touch of pine. Sweetish, already slightly bitter, very juicy-fruity and a little resiny taste of lots of orange, tangerine, peach, passion fruit, mango and some pine, followed by a medium long, quite bitter, dry and almost peppery finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Good!
