Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a black color with a medium sized beige head that left decent lacing. The aroma was malty with notes of Graham cracker, fig, date, vanilla, molasses, ginger snaps and anise. Long fog and vanilla finish. Medium body. Ok

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a very dark brown color with a small foamy off white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was strong brewed coffee with a bit of hot pepper. The flavor was strong cheap brewed coffee and a bit of hot pepper. Long bad brewed coffee finish. Disappointing.
