On tap at Suuret oluet - pienet panimot 2016, Helsinki. Very dark, close to pitch black, with a modest, but lasting black head. Roasty aroma with solid hoppy notes, licorice, pine, caramel, dark fruits and hints of citrus. Moderate to medium sweet with nice mixture between dark and roasty and light and hoppy. Pleasant BIPA. 330 ml bottle at Ulfborg. Dark brown to black color with beige brown head. Roasted malty aroma, smoked, peat, wood, dark chocolate, cocoa, licorice. Sweet and bitter like aroma with some spicy chili notes. Medium to full oily silky body with soft carbonation.

Hieman samea, oranssin kullankeltainen olut melko pienellä vaahdolla. Tuoksu kevyehkö, greippinen, havuinen ja viljainen. Maku melko greippisen humaloitu, hieman havuinen ja viljainen. Jonkin verran myös makeaa karamellia. Keskitäyteläinen, hiilihappoja vähäisesti.

Utuinen, kuparinvärinen olut hyvin pienellä vaahdolla. Tuoksussa selkeää havuisuutta ja lisäksi yllättävän runsasta makeaa hunajaa. Maku maltainen, havuinen ja aavistuksen hunajainen. Melko kevyt suutuntuma, hiilihappoja niukasti. Hieman flätti yleisfiilis, ja aika erikoinen.

Slightly hazy orange-amber color, small white head. Very light fruity nose, also some yeast notes. LIght-bodied, feels a bit flat. Tropical fruity front, then some citrusy hops. Aftertaste has pineapple. Could use more bitterness when its called IPA (instead of eg. APA). Simple.

Leicht trübes rötlich braunes Bier mit mittelgroßen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch nach rotem malz, rote Früchte, holzig. Geschmack nach reifen roten Früchten, sehr holzig, trocken, alkoholisch.

TV Celebrity Simo Frangen has already got the second beer from Pyynikki. Suprisingly as he has not particulary profiled as the craft beer lover or the ale guy. Beer itself is clear golden with small white head. Nose is a bit stuffy, light yeastyness and some kind of fruityness. Light-bodied. Light fruity flavor, some light bitterness, a bit watery finish. Very easy.
