Many thanks to rosenbergh for this bottle, 9.5%ABV! Nose of dry sweet malt, malt-candy. The beer starts fresh and aromatic, round and sweetish with a nice spicy-herbal aroma in the body. Spice, caramel, fruity hints. Very interesting and highly drinkable with a warming alcohol in the back. The carbonation level is very low, fresh and fruity, moderate bitter with lots of dry-burned caramel in the aftertaste.

Draught@Craft Beer Helsinki. Goldeny orange colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, some herbal and mild earthy notes. Flavour is fruity, floral, earthy, bready and mild herbal notes. Quite a grainy aftertaste.

Bottle 0.33l at home, Riihimäki. BBE 08-16. Colour is almost black with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Coffee, chocolate and roasted malts. Pretty nice harsh light stout.

Tap@ cbh 2016. Poured golden, deep color with a thick white head. Grainy dusty, malty aroma. Flavor has grains, earth, slight harshness. Bitter finish. Bit unclean but drinkable.

On tap at Craft Beer Helsinki 2016. Hazy deep golden with a decent, white head. Fresh hoppy with fruits, sour berries, solid citrus and hints of malt. Moderate sweet with grapefruit dominating in the flavour and a bitter finish is. Light and refreshing, but a little too lightbodied for my taste. 330ml Bottle - Brown with red tinges. Biscuity malt, knäckebröd, sultanas and pine in the aroma. Fruity, hoppy, nutty and moderately sweet taste with notes of caramel, chestnuts, grapefruit, pine and sultanas. Inreresting and has a lot of flavours that are well balanced.

330ml Bottle (8.5%) - Very dark brown, almost black, with a tan head. Liquorice, fudge, pine and toffee in the aroma. Hoppy, roasted, soapy and slightly earthy taste with notes of liquorice, fennel, coffee and roasted malt.
