Keskioranssi, samea ja miltei vaahtoamaton olut yrittää kuitenkin jättää jopa aavistuksen pitsiä ja ainakin minimaalisen valkoisen vaahtoreunuksen. Tuoksu raikkaan eksoottisen hedelmäinen ja kevyehkön karamellinen. Maku alkaa makeammalla eksoottisella hedelmäisyydellä, loppupuolelta olut on katkeramman hapan ja sitruksinen. Keskitäyteläinen suutuntuma, keskiasteisen hiilihappoinen. Hieman lisää syvyyttä tässä olisi saanut olla.

330ml Bottle - Black in colour. Coffee, cocoa and vanilla in the aroma. Roasted taste with coffee, liquorice, plain chocolate and some slightly earthy notes.

Bottle 330ml. [ As Pyynikin Vahvaportteri ].[ Courtesy of my EU Secret Winter Santa 2015 - (rosenbergh) ]. Clear dark black brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, roasted, wood, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, roasted, dark malt, sweet malt, wood. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160625]

Draught @ SOPP Helsinki 2016. Smell of coffee and licorice. Black colour, minimal light brown head. Aroma of licorice, roasted malt, oak,some grain and milk. Half lively and soft carbon. Slightly oily, yet also slightly ashy texture. Very bitter.

Draught @ SOPP Helsinki 2016. Black, very small dark brown head. Smell of vanilla, roasted malt. Aroma of vanilla, milk, roasted malt, licorice. Heavy body, slightly oily texture. Soft and flat carbon. Sweet, also slightly bitter. Very balanced.

(Keg at SOPP Helsinki 2016) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had cow shit and burnt malts. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, ash, sweetness, chocolate and bitterness. Aftertaste was, ashy and bitter. It was difficult to get past the aroma. The taste was nice.

(Keg at SOPP Helsinki 2016) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, spiciness and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium. Flavours were spiciness, sweetness, fruitiness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy and bitter. A pretty nice saison.
