Deep ruby color, big creamy beige head. Caramelly, a bit berryish and hoppy aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Caramel, strawberries, woody hoppyness in the finish. Lingering bitterness, weaker in malts. Reasonably clean hoppy amber ale.

Tap @Winston Beer Festival
Hazy yellow color, good foamy head. Citrus-hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied. Clove, dry hoppy notes, slightly tart (not infected way). A bit too citrusy weizen for my liking.

Clear golden color, no head. Green apple, some green vegetables and maybe juniper in the nose. Medium-bodied. Very alcoholic, very dry juniper and wood flavor. Not very Sahti-like, more like "juniper ale".

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 05/2014
Aroma has strong peppery spices, clove and some herbal tones. Also some licorice in the background. Flavour has lots of peppery spices, clove, licorice and herbs. Feels slightly watery. Not as bad as I thought, but these low ABV spice bombs just don’t work.

Bottled 330ml, PBF
Hazy yellow color, small white head. Light citrusy aroma. Light bodied. Tartish, citrusy and "dry yeasty" flavor. Lacks German banana flavors and esters. Stronger on tap was slightly better.

A very dark reddish brown beer with a dense, medium, creamy and beige head. The nose is strongly citrusfruity with fresh pine forest, also interestingly liquirice and even roastiness. The fresh and succesfully aroma. Taste is smoothly bittery, citrusfruits, pine needles, fruits, also some liquirice. The piney bitterness changes slightly herbal in the long end. Almost medium bodied, smooth carbonation, enjoyable. Interesting beer, enough of bitterness wrapped into unique and nuanced package.

A black beer with a nice, brown and medium head. The nose of salt liquirice, nice roastiness, some smoke and tar liquirice candys, hint of vegetables. Taste is strongly roasted and even slightly burned and chalky, salt liquirice, syrup like sweetness, hint of vegetables. In the end there are nice herbal bitterness. Medium+ bodied, smooth to drink. Unfortunately, hint of vegetables bothers the enjoyment. Nice and slightly smoky porter.
