Bottle 33 cl. Pours a dark amber with a slight haze and an off-white head. Almost non-existant aroma, a hint of toffee perhaps. Medium body, sweet toasted malt, perhaps a little nuttiness. There's a faint, underlying fustiness, but nothing too alarming. No real hoppiness. I read the style as a 'Dunkel', which could've made sense, but I see now, that it's actually a 'Dubbel', which it is totally not! Absolutely no Belgian yeast complexity. 220622

Draught @ Verdens Største Virtuelle Ølsmagning 2022, SKAAL, Sønderborg. Pours dark orangeish amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with estery notes and fruity hints. Bitter, hoppy glavour with fruity and malty notes and touches of yeast and caramel. Bitter and estery aftertaste with touches of caramel malt. Reasonable. Please learn the grammar of Danish better, though. Daggry (dawn) is neuter, so the name of the beer should be Gyldent, not Gylden, Daggry.

Bottle, 6% at Skaal Sønderborg. Papery and caramelly aroma. Hazy light chestnut colour. Small head. The flavour is caramelly and papery. A bit anonymous for the style. OK mouthfeel. Papery finish. Better than it sounds, I guess, but not great - especially considering the ABV.
