Off Ghost duty, so decided to check out the new Second Sin location in Newton. Really juicy, little hoppy, maybe banana. Almost a hoppy here. Phightens and Fish in the series finale.

Can pour from a trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! It's an opaque, virtually black dark brown with nice sparkle, thin cap light brown head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong bittersweet coffee/roasted malt, dark chocolate and vanilla. Taste is more coffee bitterness than aroma but sweet creamy lactose offset is still there. Mouthfeel is full bodied, thick, soft carbonation and moderately bitter finish. Excellent strength for 5.5% and oats produce full body. Coffee bitterness remains with just right amount of lactose for sweet balance.
