Very good, lightly yellow head, quite stable (and with a markedly bitter taste); cold-hazed golden beer. Milkripe grain, faint hoppy nose, faintly earthy-leafy. Bitter flavour, hoppy. There is the pale malt building a base, but the flavour remains surprisingly hop-dominated. Spritzy MF, slightly slick. Aftertaste has a slightly oxydized (grain?) or fatty acid streak; and gradually, the bitterness turns to metallic. This is a surprisingly good and convincing Pilsener - not at all expected , and all the more welcome! Txs to Hans B!

Gushing to huge pale-tan head, collapsing over veiled amber-ochre beer. Banana, some clove, Weizenyeast, Brazil nuts, spices. Sourish-fruity, citrus, sweet banana, nutmeg. Feels rather fizzy - hardly surprising seen the gushing. Faint slickness, not very well-bodied. Despite total absence of fireworks - the foamfountain excepted - rather pleasing. Txs to Hans B!

Huge brown-cream head, dense,, over deep chestnut beer. Sweet nose, roasted, bit of coffee, felt, cardemome husks, brown candi sugar. Bit lactic, lots of melanoidins. Tastes much less sweet than the nose, some caramel, brown candi sugar, again (cardemome) hsuks, even slightly smokey. Light to medium bodied, but not empty, bit granulated feel. Not bad. Thanks to Hans B!

Gushing to huge beige-yellowish head, fluffy, over hazy orange beer. Herbal, bit grassy, some caramel or toast; not very imposing. Slightly spiced, malty. BIt of (wet) cardboard too. More or less edible husks, if that makes some sense. Warming up, decidedly nutty flavour. Good carbonation, light slickness, very light body. Rather unremarkable. Thanks, Hans B!

Toweringly high beige-tan head over brown to black beer. Roasted/burnt, sweet syrup, coloured malts. Perfumed (dates?), even soapy, but very nice aroma. Only hints at whisk(e)y in the nose. Dry - faintly sweetish. Clear roasted, or even BBQ-like flavours, chocolate, but sweet. Retronasal smoked whisky, phenolic. Quite slick, very well-bodied for its discreet ABV. Aftertaste underlines both the whisky as the burnt flavours. Quite good in its style. Light porter, but very convincing. Another good Südtiroler, Hans B! Txs!
