0.33 l bottle from 'Trinkgut Knödgen', best before April 2024. Clear, ruby with a large, foamy, slowly diminishing, pinkish white head. Sweetish, minimally sourish, gently fruity aroma of elderberry, elderflower and some grains. Quite sweet, moderately bitter, minimally sourish, quite fruity taste of elderberry, elderflower, blackcurrant and some grains, followed by a short, hardly bitter, a little tart finish. Thin to medium body, smooth but fairly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Interesting beverage, quite pleasant, fairly unusual flavours.

Fantastic fruity beginning. Great nice fruity beginning. Moderate bitterness, hints of grain. Fruity dry and easy to drink with a great fresh fruity natural elderberry finish. 500ml bottle. Opalescent, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, firm, frothy to creamy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, snow white head. Grainy, strawy, minimally musty, pale malty aroma, a touch of silage. Taste is grainy, strawy, pale malty, minimally mineral if not metallic, a touch of silage, corn, rice. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Light, watery, monotonous - not appealing.
