(swing top bottle) Dark brown to black colour with a lightly tanned lasting rocky head. Hoppy nose with toasted malts. Medium bodied taste of malts with a dry aromatic hoppy, slightly mocca-like aftertaste. A fine refreshing Schwarzbier.

Clear golden colour with foamy lasting, nice lacing white head. With its wonderful grassy full pack of aroma hops revealing nose with a smooth medium bodied malty start, followed by a very dry bitterhoppy longlasting aftertaste, this fine northern style Pilsener is heavy underrated. Very bitter on bottle, it is way better on tap, but almost nowhere to get but in my (new) hometown Bochum in the Ruhr area. Besides the many corporated mainstream brews, I´m quite proud of this lovely private brewery and its exceptional Pilsener beer !

Average but not bad; although 5.1% are indicated on the label, it is not very full-bodied. If You expect a well rounded, less hoppy and "warming" Export, You could be disappointed sometimes. On draught:Golden coloured, slowly diminishing white head; sweetish malty nose, nearly no hops; moderate sweetish flavour with a tinge of bitterness; finish is malty with a dash of bitterness. Not bad, but boring, though

(swing top bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with medium foamy white head. Light-sweet, sour doughy pale malty nose with herbal and slightly grassy hops in the back. Light bitter flavour with a balancing malty sweetness, light to medium bodied with a crispy mouthfeel. Pale malt-character, slightly doughy with herbal and slightly grassy hoppy accents; bitter-sweet malty and slightly hoppy finish with a tinge of sourness. Quite Pilsener like Dortmunder, which name refers to Dortmunder beers/Exports in Wilhelminian times. Average but not bad.

Dark black color, medium brown head. Aroma of rye, roasted malt, some skunky hops. Sweet taste, roasted malts, rye, coffee, not quite balanced. Sticky palate. Mediocre beer.
