Appearance: Opaque deep brown to black, small ivory-coloured head. Aroma: Prunes, Chocolate & coffee, caramel, toastsome brandy. Taste: Medium plus sweet. Rich dried fruits, dark malts, chocolate & coffee, caramel, treacle, distant hop. Low bitterness. Mouth feel: Medium plus body, soft carbonation. Summary: Not bad. lacking balance nevertheless.
