On tap at Roadhouse pale light yellow. Bland and watery, no hop character at all. Sweet

16oz can from Hops & Bottles. Black pour, thick brown head settled out to a small creamy cap. Rich roasty malt aroma, notes of chocolate. Taste is bittersweet, roasty, dark chocolate, coffee. Nothing fancy here, a simple stout done very well.

On tap at Homestead Meridian foggy light pale straw color. Dense lasting whited head and blocky lacing Apricot light tropical and citrus aromas and flavors. Very light and subtle. Soft palate

16 oz. Aroma has notes of coffee, chocolate, caramel, wet stone, dark bread, herbal hops. Pours inky black with a half finger tan head that falls into a ring somewhat quickly. Taste is mildly sweet and highly bitter for style--like good black coffee. Nice velvety mouthfeel. Great and welcoming in that there's significant bitterness here, and just enough sweetness to prevent acridity. I've had enough sickly sweet sugary stouts recently to last me a lifetime. This is a nice change of pace.

Roast and some coconut. Some caramel. Dark brown pour with decent head. Bittersweet finish with tangy cloying aftertaste that lingers a little long. Can.

16oz can hazy light peach and white head. Lots of peach aromas. Soft mellow fruity hop flavors and a decent peach character. Unfiltered full palate.

16 oz. Aroma has notes of Smarties, peach, bread, matchsticks, dirty socks. Pours hazy golden with chunks of floaties and a two finger soapy off-white head with decent retention. Taste has a moderate bitterness, finishing dry, with faintly peachy flavors. Has a thin, watery mouthfeel. I wish the peach came through stronger. Kind of bland overall.

16oz can from Hops & Bottles. Clear amber, patchy head. Aroma is gingerbread and winter spice. Bigger gingerbread presence in the taste, snappy, orange peel.

16 oz can from Craft Brewers. Deep golden color with a nice thick foamy cap. Musty, malty, grainy aroma. Taste is normal for the style, grainy. Full mouthfeel, minor mouth coating.
