bottle. Clear yellow colour, mid-sized quickly disappearing white head. Hoppy nose. Medium-bodied with a shy malty base and resiny/grassy hops that add quite some bitterness. Quite nice, actually.

Three 330ml flip-top bottles from the trinkstube at a conference on early modern witchcraft in Hohenheim. Clear golden body. Decent white head. Modest fresh floral aroma. Sweet fruity hops in flavour with malts lurking behind. Short, gentle bitter tail. Crispy and clean tasting. Little more than just alright (26. and 27.02.2009).

Apperance, light clear pilsner with a small white head. Not too much aroma, but a sence of malt if something. The taste is ok but not too much taste.

500ml bottle. Pours a lasting, one-finger white head. Cloudy, orange body. Unmistakable weizen aroma of cloves and late banana. Sweet flavour of spices mixed with late citrus fruits and notes of yeast remaining in the background. Dry and rounded mouthfeel. Very ordinary for the style. The bottle was bought at a Kaufhof store in Stuttgart for under one Euro (0.88EU), and that is so far from the expensive beer prices in Norway that I just had to make a notice to it (hotel room, 25.02.2009).

a new beer by Schwaben Bräu - only avilable in spring. Clear golden colour, mid-sized white head. Aroma of malt and strong alcohol. Malty with shy hop flavours, watery for the strength and with a schnapps flavour that makes alcohol the predimonant flavour in the overall appearance.
