Can pour shared by AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! Dark black/brown (cola) with mild viscosity, no head or lacing. Aroma is super strong rum, hint of savoriness with deep sniff. Taste is strong rum, perhaps mildest of maple, hint of salt. Smooth texture, soft carbonation finish as taste. For such a complex description, very disappointing to get so little except the rum. Fortunately, I like rum but there's nothing more than this.

16 oz can from the brewery. Aroma is allspice the rum. That’s all I smell. The flavor is rum predominant with very mild traces of bacon. No smoke. I like the concept of the brew. Unfortunately, the rum rules everything.

16 oz can. Aroma is soft lemon. Flavor is lemon, lime and a soft yeast. Light body with a American yeast influence. Decent

Very dark brown with a small foamy beige head that left decent lacing. Wood smoke, maple syrup and a bit of bread crust. Long finish. Medium body.
Thanks for bringing this WWII letter in! Really cool. Beer is decent.
