Description
La Vaugermaine is a micro-brewery producing traditional beers (blonds, triples, etc.) and grape must beers. Its beer of choice, the soul of the brewery, is beer made from grape must harvested from the Chablis appellation vineyard, a famous white wine from the north of the Burgundy appellation, made from 100% Chardonnay grapes.

The brewery was established by Carine and Odile, both of whom worked in the world of wine. Odile is cellar master in a large wine estate, and Karine was the housekeeper.

The idea for Vaugermaine was born during the harvest, in the cellar, bathed in the aromas of freshly pressed grape juice, during a little “foam break” at the end of the day. It was the meeting of beer and must that gave rise to the idea of developing this beer, and the project of this collection. The desire was to develop a recipe that creates alchemy, while retaining the harmony and singularity of the two universes. The bet paid off.
